FREE RADICALS
From a biochemical viewpoint FREE RADICALS are molecules, produced by our organism, the atoms of which have lost one electron.
The absence of an electron makes the molecule unstable and therefore permanently in search of other molecules to which it can attach, thus triggering off a chain reaction of instability.
